The frame features hand-forged “River Rock” damascus steel, shaped and textured by master metalsmith Chad Nichols. Set into the handle is Fordite, also known as “Motor City Agate,” a vibrant, layered material formed from decades of accumulated automotive paint. Every inlay reveals a one-of-a-kind swirl of color—making each knife visually unique and rich in American automotive history.
The blade is forged from Nichols’ “Intrepid” damascus, offering both resilience and a bold, intricate pattern. For added distinction, the one-hand button lock and thumb stud each hold a Kashmir Blue topaz, lending a final touch of elegance and detail.
