The Seiko SRPL05 Limited Edition honors the original 1968 Seiko 5 Sports by faithfully recreating its iconic design. Seiko produced just 9,999 pieces worldwide, making this watch a prized collectible. Each caseback features a vintage style and an engraved unique serial number.
The silver dial shows the classic Seiko 5 logo and the word “SPORTS” at 6 o’clock, just like the original. A bright red second hand adds a pop of color. Luminous hands and markers improve visibility in any lighting. You’ll also find a day/date calendar framed by a silver uni-directional rotating bezel, reminiscent of the 1968 model.
Seiko powers this watch with a 24-jewel automatic movement that beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour. It provides a 41-hour power reserve and allows manual winding for precise control.
The stainless steel case pairs with a solid link bracelet that preserves the vintage look while offering improved durability and comfort. The tri-fold push-button clasp keeps the watch secure.
